You can play sports anywhere you want. Why not do it in one of the prettiest towns around.

Situated on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula, Rovinj is one of the most striking places on the Croatian coast. A picturesque town of some 15,000 inhabitants is considered by many as one of the most romantic  places of the Mediterranean. In the past Rovinj was an island protected by tall stone walls. Colorful painted houses, narrow streets and small squares  above which  rises  the impressive baroque cathedral of St. Euphemia  offer a unique Mediterranean atmosphere.

The Rovinj archipelago consists of 16 islands, islets and cliffs but  the most famous of all are the island of Saint Andrija, also known as the Red Island, and the island of Sv. Catherine. Not far from the city center there is the Golden Cape Forest Park where one can find many beaches, ride a bike or simply walk. The mild Mediterranean climate, fresh air and clear sea provide for a possibility of an active vacation throughout year, in sports halls or on outdoor terrains. The combination of tradition and rich historical and cultural heritage with modern (concept of) tourism and the modern (architecture of) hotel buildings make Rovinj one of the most attractive (contemporary) tourist destinations.
